Rob has a passion for good urbanism and for learning from people about their place. 

Rob is the Creative Director of Rob Thompson Urbanism and an urbanist, urban designer and town planner with almost 30 years experience in the built environment.

Rob is an Urban Design Recognised Practitioner, a member of the Urban Design Group and an Academician and Council Member of the Academy of Urbanism.

Rob sits on the Places Matter! North West Design Panel, Design Yorkshire Yorkshire and Humber Design Panel and Design:Midlands Design Panel.
